Henna Services

The Mehndi Salon Experience:
A thoroughly relaxing session of henna painting in the comfort of your own home...Prices are determined by the amount of time spent during a session.

$75 per hour is the standard charge, although that can vary depending on special circumstances. There is a one-hour minimum for appointments. Recipients of 1/2 hour gift certificates are allowed half-hour housecalls without extra charge.

The design in the center is Arabic for "My Heart"

What a great way to share the pleasure of henna with your friends, family...or even yourself! Starting at $40 (a half-hour design), gift certificates a perfect gift idea.

Henna Parties:
Henna parties are a great way to have fun with henna. Whether it's a bridal shower, a bellydance party, a pregnancy celebration, or just a casual get-together, henna adds a special something. The price is still $75/hour -- no matter how many people get hennaed.

In addition to henna at a party, it's also fun to hire a bellydancer (or two) -- I can highly recommend Dilek,a highly skilled bellydancer who specializes in Turkish and Egyptian styles. She's awesome!

Lectures:
I am available to give lectures on the history of henna usage, regional pattern preferences, and the social customs of henna across India, the Middle East and North Africa. I also am happy to do demonstrations. Rates are negotiable.
